We handle your financial data with care. Here is exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and how it is protected — including special rules for your PAN and credit report.
Full name, date of birth, and the last four digits of your PAN. We do not store your full PAN as a field we collect. A full PAN may appear inside a credit report you upload — see section 03.
Email address, mobile number, and the city and state you are in.
Monthly and annual income, employment type, employer name, and for business applicants your company name, GSTIN and annual revenue.
The credit report you upload yourself, and the figures we extract from it — your credit score, account and repayment history, current lenders, recent enquiries and employer. We do not pull your credit report and we hold no relationship with any credit bureau. Uploading a report you already hold does not affect your credit score.
Pages visited, loan types searched, offers viewed, device type, IP address, and session data.
To match you with lending partners based on your financial profile and loan requirement.
To read the credit report you upload. This extraction is automated and is carried out by a third-party processing service — see section 05. It produces a summary of the figures in your report. It does not make any decision about your application.
To verify your identity and prevent fraud.
To communicate with you about your application, offers received, and platform updates.
To improve our matching and platform experience using aggregated, anonymised data.
We collect only the last four digits of your PAN. We do not store your full PAN as a field we collect.
Your full PAN does appear inside the credit report you upload, and we keep that report as you supplied it. It is readable only by you and by authorised Comparaloan staff — no lending partner, loan agent, referral partner or investor can access it.
Lending partners never receive your PAN during the comparison stage. They see a redacted profile in which your PAN is masked.
Your full PAN is disclosed to a lender only when you explicitly select that lender for a final offer and confirm at that step. You will see a clear confirmation prompt first.
You may request deletion of your PAN and your uploaded credit report at any time by emailing privacy.cl@allumerfintech.com. Deletion requests are processed within 7 business days.
You upload your own credit report. We do not retrieve it from a credit bureau on your behalf, and we hold no relationship with any credit bureau.
Before we store it, the document is read by an automated processing service so the figures in it can be extracted — see section 05.
Your uploaded report and the data extracted from it are held on encrypted servers in India.
We keep your report until you ask us to delete it. Write to privacy.cl@allumerfintech.com and we will remove it. We are establishing a published retention schedule and will update this policy when it is set.
We do not sell or rent your data. We do not transfer your credit report to any third party other than the lending partners you explicitly choose and the processing service described in section 05, which acts only on our instructions.
Reading a credit report by hand is slow, so we use an automated document-processing service to extract the figures from it. The document you upload is sent to that service in full, exactly as you supplied it.
That service processes your document on servers located in India, and processes it solely for this purpose on our instructions.
The extraction produces a summary — your score, accounts, repayment history and recent enquiries. It does not make, and is not used to make, any decision about your application or about the offers you receive. Every offer comes from a lending partner.
We do not name the provider here. We keep a record of which service processed each document — write to privacy.cl@allumerfintech.com and we will tell you which one processed yours.
During the comparison stage, lending partners see a redacted profile: your name, credit score, account and repayment history, current lenders, recent enquiries and employer. Your PAN, date of birth, address, phone number, email address and account numbers are not shown.
After you choose a lender for final offers: the selected lender receives your full application details including identity information, subject to your explicit consent at that step.
All lending partners on our platform are bound by confidentiality agreements and are required to comply with applicable Indian data protection laws.
We do not share your data with advertisers, marketing companies, or unrelated third parties.
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and platform functionality. These cannot be disabled.
We use privacy-preserving analytics to understand how the platform is used in aggregate. These do not identify you and do not track you across other websites.
We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking pixels.
Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal retention requirements.
Withdraw consent for data processing at any time. This may affect your ability to use the platform.
All data is transmitted over TLS 1.2 or higher.
Access to your personal data within our systems is restricted to authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis.
In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
Our servers and stored files are hosted in India.
